Dorothy “Dottie” J. Denni, age 76, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away at Ripley Crossing, in Milan, Indiana, on Monday May 6th, 2013. She was born February 23, 1937 in Batesville, Indiana to Omer and Clara (Puente) Seevers.  She married Wilbur Denni on May 8, 1954 at St. John United Church of Christ in Penntown and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1989.  Dorothy was very active in the Batesville and Sunman area.  She worked and later retired from American Family Insurance.  After retirement she worked part time at Webers Greenhouse, Indian Lakes golf course and was a water aerobics instructor at the YMCA in Batesville.  Dottie lived on the Denni farm and loved all animals, especially her dogs, miniature donkey and horse, the outdoors, birds and flowers.  She devoted her life to the family farm and its heritage, as the farm has been in the family for over 100 years.
