Arthur L. (Art) Meyer, 88 of Westfield, IN formerly of Moores Hill passed away Sunday May 5, 2013, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Carmel, IN.  Art was born Thursday May 8, 1924 in Mt. Sinai, IN, the son of August and Mabel (Prichard) Meyer.  He married Ruth (Renner) Meyer July 31, 1954 and she preceded him in death March 4, 2003.  Art served his country in both the navy and marine Corp.   He worked at the Miller Hardware and Lumber Company in Moores Hill.  He was a contractor and a farmer.  He was a member of the Moores Hill Methodist Church, and a lifetime member of the Floyd Becker Post #209 of the American Legion.  Art enjoyed his family and friends. Art is survived by daughter: Paula McIntosh of Westfield, IN;   5 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Art was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Meyer, 1 brother Roger Meyer, and 1 sister Edwa Meyer.  Funeral services will be Saturday May 11, 2013, 2:00 PM at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill with Pastor Ted Hamrick officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt.
