James Glenn “Mule Skinner” White, 82, of Vevay, IN, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born Monday, April 13, 1931 in Petersburg, Kentucky, Son of the late Charles R. White and the late Hazel G. Walston White. Jim was a Truck Driver for Teamster Union Local 135, as well as working at Schenley Distillery and the Batesville Casket Company. He was a member of the Indiana Horse and Mule Pullers Association, he enjoyed farming and socializing. Jim loved music, especially old country and bluegrass. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Nancy Rice White of Vevay, IN.; 5 children, Janet (Eugene) Curlin of Moores Hill, IN, James “Joe” (Debbie) White of Moores Hill, IN, Jack White of Vevay, IN, Jeffrey Glenn White of Rising Sun, IN, Johnny R. (Sheree) White of Vevay, IN; Brother in law, Norman “Red” Cutter of Dillsboro, IN; Uncle, Elvin “Bud” (Louise) White of Milan, IN; 19 Grandchildren; 34 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
