Mrs. Helen Louise (Jones) Cotton, age 79, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 28, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, the loving daughter of the late, James Hubert & Elinor Louise (McKee) Jones. She was a 1951 graduate in Hartville, Missouri. Helen was united in marriage on February 23, 1952 in Rogers, Arkansas, to Walter Carroll Cotton & to this union arrived one son to bless their home. Helen & Walter shared 61loving years of marriage together until her death. Helen attended the University of Missouri. Helen was a former Data Entry Clerk at the University of Missouri, for several years. Helen was a member of the Julia Dumont Literary Club & the Women’s Bridge Club in Madison, Indiana. Helen resided in Vevay, Indiana, for the past 26 years. Helen will be remembered for her love of being an avid Bridge player. Helen was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. Helen died at 7:32 am, Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Spiry of Des Moines, IA; 2-nieces: Babette Waldrop & Margarete Jones; nephew: George Spiry
She was preceded in death by her parents: James Hubert & Elinor Louise (McKee) Jones; brother-in-law: Alfred J. Spiry; nephew: Alfred Spiry, II
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Roger Parrott, at the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
