The New Point BP station was robbed.
The Food Mart clerk told police a 5 ’10″ white man entered the store around 10 p.m. Tuesday and demanded cash. The Greensburg Daily News reports the clerk said he had a knife under the camouflage coat.
After the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, he, then ran from the store, across State Road 46. A state police canine was called in to track the suspect.
The robbery is being investigated by Decatur County Sheriff’s Department and the New Point Marshal.
It’s not known if this robbery is connected to similar ones at Hucks store in Batesville and another one in Napoleon.
