Official Mr. Redlegs Contest Rules

1.    Eligibility Restrictions:

a.   This contest is open to all WRBI listeners who are residents of South Eastern Indiana and at least 21 years of age, unless otherwise specified. Employees of WRBI, its corporate licensee, White River Broadcasting, The Findlay Publishing Company, affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and/or other media in the WRBI coverage area and members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Also, former White River Broadcasting employees are not eligible to win any contest within a 12-month period following the termination of their employment. 

b.   Listeners are eligible to win a WRBI contest once every thirty (30) days and have fourteen (14) days to pick up their prize. Only one winner per household is permitted.  Prizes must be claimed at the main studio, 133 South Main Street, Batesville, Indiana during normal weekday business hours. Prizes not picked-up within the 14-day period will be forfeited. Listeners are eligible to win a WRBI contest valued at $600 or more only once every six months.

c.    Participants are required to provide truthful information and WRBI will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.

d.   Contest subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations.

e.   Failure to comply with these contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.

f.   No purchase is necessary. 

2.   Selection Of Winners:

a.   Decisions of station management are final.

b.   Participants must locate Mr. Redlegs somewhere on wrbiradio.com. To enter you need to click on the Mr. Redlegs graphic and then complete the form as indicated.  WRBI is not responsible for any technical difficulties experienced in accessing the internet, or wrbiradio.com, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from gaining access to wrbiradio.com.  In the event of an interruption of power or internet service at our website hosting facility, the contest will resume once power or service has been restored.

c.    All correct entries will be placed in a drawing each week to determine that week's winner. Winner will be announced on the following Monday.

d.   Weekly contest for weekly prizes runs from Saturday to the following Friday. New location for Mr. Redlegs will be posted each Saturday. The summer Mr. Redlegs contest runs the length of the Cincinnati Reds regular season ending on October 4. Final week's winner and grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, October 5.

3.   Conditions:

a.   Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or equivalent.

b.   By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcast promotional material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and without signing any further publicity release prior to airing.

c.    WRBI reserves the right to make changes to the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

d.   Prize winners agree to hold harmless and release WRBI, its corporate licensee, White River Broadcasting, The Findlay Publishing Company, affiliated entities from loss, claim, injury, damage or expense, including, but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, which are in any way connected or associated with the use of any prizes or prizes received from WRBI.

e.   WRBI is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

f.    Some prizes are provided to WRBI in exchange for promotional consideration.

g.   Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WRBI, 133 South Main Street, Batesville, Indiana  47006.
